Thanks for the confirmation, and your accompanying thoughts, as well. I am guardedly optimistic. This might be one case where the post-marketing studies might actually get done! If Ms. Rubin's perception of physician attitudes toward the safety data is correct, Pfizer will have to show longer term numbers that are good, as you have to get the docs to prescribe to get far (duh). Here we may be able to dig out animal data that points to long term lung safety. I'm not sure if it's readily available (perhaps I'll dig a bit) to us, but the FDA must have seen it and not been alarmed.
