The competition on the NC will come from zero maintainance apps under Windows as far as MSFT is concerned. If this idea is successful, then it will have the advantage of low maintainance (like NC), speed, as well as more control for the user.

This will be an interesting battle between ORCL and MSFT over the next 1-2 yrs.
