To my way of thinking, there is an even more important reason why Lieberman should not be holding political office --- the way he sold the average American down the river in the early nineties, when he helped to KILL accounting reform that was pushed by the Accounting Standards Board, the Federal Reserve, The Treasury Department, and the President.

By continuing to ALLOW dishonest accounting to prevail (through such accounting 'tricks' as claiming stock option grants as 'expenses' for tax deductions --- but NOT declaring them as expenses to the stock holders) a small band of corrupt politicians (lead by Senators Lieberman and Breaux, with others) created the conditions which ignited the Tech Bubble and subsequent collapse of the late 'nineties... removing hundreds of BILLIONS from the pockets of ordinary Americans.

Any man who stands up for DISHONEST ACCOUNTING (kowtowing to the wishes of a select group of his campaign contributors, who bought and sold him) is NOT qualified for public office.
