I lived in TX and never heard of any Richards lesbian rumors - I did hear she was a boozehound.

smears are always perped by surrogates, never by the candidate himself. So Rove would organize a team of zealots who would do push-polls, send out anonymous leaflets and otherwise start the whisper campaign. So that people finally say.

"Hey did you know Anne Richards is a lesbo? Maybe that's why she ain't married".


Ah, so you are into smearing Republicans with lies because you wanta be Kerry's zealot.
