I just returned from a visit to Tokyo and while there I visited GS HQ there. WOW, Impressive, they have moved a few times in recent years as their stature improved. The reputation of GS in Japan is daunting. They are "THE" BIG player in the country. 20 years or even 10 years ago, if you called a Japanese company and said you represented GS they would ask who is Goldman Sachs not anymore.
