E I read a lot of different threads and it pisses me when I see a post that someone has made in good faith to the group to which he or she was posting taken and quoted on another thread so that everyone could take a swipe at it..or the person who posted it... There are good places to post and other's to stay away from, knowing that there is a great intolerance of others' opinions on some threads... I like provocative posts and am willing to read anything if it has validity.. Now, some people, myself included believe that if something comes from a very biased publication it is going to be offering only one point of view. The New York Post vs. The New York Times, for example. The fact that I am not a Republican conservative I have made very clear here... However, I am always interested to read what those who are have to say. It helps me sometimes to glean an overall view of the subject. What I cannot stand is fun being made of another person. When someone whom I respect posts I am more than willing to look at that information and am often persuaded because I like the person. Just like a good teacher who is liked by her students can get messages across better than someone the kids dislike. I was much more rabid before I posted on Dale's thread and when I get into that modality I go someplace else to post. IN the final analysis for me.. I question when I disagree but I do not attack the messenger...
