Tim, that sentence was hard work. I literally had to parse it, really, not just the loose use of the word that folks hereabouts may use. I mean pull out the clauses and flip the multiple negatives. <g>

Yes and no. I think it depends upon the degree of skepticism. I wouldn't have any problem assessing the notion that there is no anthropogenic global warming as "flat earth." (You and I had that discussion many years ago.) But as for inevitable major disaster without an immediate major changes, no, I wouldn't. I think "skeptic" is an appropriate label for that. And I think that "true believer" is a good label for anyone who would label that particular skeptic a "flat earther." <g>
