But don't forget that they fielded the candidate who got the most votes in 2000, despite losing nearly 4% of the vote to Nader. They also fielded a candidate who lost only very narrowly to a sitting President during a war in 2004. I can blame Kerry's flat-footed campaign for part of the loss in '04, but not all of it. No, I have to give Rove a lot of credit. - Allen
