Great post! Although under my picture in my high school yearbook (yes, the yellowed pages) it says "voted most likely to communicate", I noticed by your previous post that I have not spelled my position out succinctly. I believe that you will still disagree. Yet I would like my position clarified for the record.
I believe that the reputation of a "passive" director (my terminology) remains unaffected by a corporate calamity. In the interest of clarity let me define "passive" as non-"active".
An "active" director would be an employee-director or a director with a high profile investment in the company. Such individuals presumably are expected to be "hands-on" to the regular operations of a company.
All others, in my opinion, are immune from notoriety upon disaster.

Ergo, Stud, Mud, and Dud are culpable for any failure in both KLSE and FONX. I hope this clarifies my position.
