There probably have been numerous small scale massacres by US troops in Iraq.
Not to mention the many civilians killed by air strikes.

This kind of thing is inevitable in colonial wars fought against people of a very different cultural background.

Which is one of the reasons why some us opposed this aggression from the get go.

And Iraq -- horrible as it has been -- still has not reached the level of slaughter inflicted by the US military on the people of Vietnam during the 1960s and 1970s.
