Kirk, I think most of us who follow the market rather closely are just waiting for the turn around. The economic indicators all show a very good economy, predictions for the most part are good - look at the SIA forecast for instance for the next 3 years - but at the moment it doesn't matter. The "market" is in a funk where "good news" is considered "bad news", and "bad news" is considered "bad news". We had another lousy week this past week(only 3 1/2 trading days) where the SOX was down 4 percent. Message 22605175 The last 6 weeks the SOX is down 9.2 percent.
