I'd like to know anything that speaks to my question. You effectively ruled out an answer from the Catholic Church. If they can't lobby, then there's nothing to be learned about my question from their lack of lobbying. If the particulars of some other group adds value, then I'd like to know that.

I recognize the difference between explaining and proselytizing. Really.

You have driven me to google. Best I can tell, whatever protests there may be are directed at destoying the embryos. As long as there is no action to destroy them, the clinics are left to do their thing. Since the destruction is rarely public, out of sight, out of mind.
