Harris, quit lying. Kerry told the truth in 1971. You smear jockeys cannot make My Lai massacre disappear. You cannot make the Phoenix Program disappear. You cannot make Agent Orange and napalm and free fire zones disappear. All that stuff was real and happened. Kerry simply reported that, for the troops who asked him to (not criticizing the troops) in order to expose the fact that the top brass and Nixon White House was running an insane, immoral, unwinnable war in which the US had crossed the line into barbarity. The Phoenix Program was the CIA's secret assassination behind enemy lines operation. When Kerry taxied SEALS into Cambodia 3-4 times, that was probably Phoenix. Those SEALS came back with tales of nightmarish things they were ordered to do, the green-faced frogmen slipping into villages and assassinating leaders, including by be-heading, which spooked Busddhists because without the head attached supposedly they cannot get to nirvana. All true. Also true, by then the Vietnam War was a completely self-defeating exercise and was chewing up America's finest at a rate of 100 per week.
