Not any more! The only decent apartment a regular folk in Beijing can afford now is OUT SIDE Wu Huan Lu (the 5th Circle road outside the center Beijing). Those who live there can hardly go to work or go to a decent shopping center without a private car (unless one wants to spend >1 hr. waiting and riding the bus)

Only few super rich and/or foreigners can afford to buy a decent apartment in convenient inner city
