what is "Ritz"?

$350k = about 2.8 million Yuan, should be able to buy a regular size (120 sq. meters) (high-rise) condo within 3rd Circle Road.

But one thing to keep in mind is that Beijing is one of the very few Chinese cities where housing price still keeps going up now. The price in Shanghai already start to drop

Here is a Chinese site where you can search, I guess you can find some friends who understand Chinese help you?<g> You can search by District and location. The price for condo in inner city of Beijing is bet. 10k - 40k Yuan/sq. meter (=about 10.5 sq feet?). But the condo fee can be very high for some, 3-8 Yuan/sq meter each month, some perhaps even higher. Find some Chinese friends who can help you. Real estate business in China now is one of the most corrupted, so be careful.

Another thing is that the Chinese gov. may start to have some restriction for foreign capital purchase of housing in China soon, which make sense, because some overseas flippers buy as many as 100 sets of apartment in some Chinese cities, just for cooking up the price and make huge profit. Do not have any details yet, but maybe just something like, foreigners cannot buy more than 1-2 condos at the same time, and cannot sell within 3-5 years, things like that.
