Whoever protested the war prior to the invasion turned out to be right, regardless of theri reasons. Didn't they? Whatever the non-imminent danger Saddam might have posed to us, what's happened since has been far more damaging than anything Saddam could have mustered even in his meanest fantasies. In fact it's ruining the entire "war on terror" and Al Qaida couldn't be happier.

The fact we now know is that Bush-Cheney lied and hyped the reasons for their big rush to war, dishonestly morphed Osama into Saddam, then so poorly-planned the aftermath that three years later most of our military strength is bogged down in a quagmire over there, and even our generals admit we cannot win militarily, so it's time to cut our losses and redeploy. Let the Iraqis figure out their own security. We'll be nearby if they really need us.

Enough is enough.
