The neocons were so intent on moving into Iraq, they did not consider the lives of our military folks and cared to plan.

There are reports that even the Shias are becoming very impatient with the presence of the US military. And that should be worrisome for all of us. The Shias like the Democrats want Bush to set a date, not for when the US troops to pull out but one where the US military gives up its occupations and makes the Iraqi parliament and their elected leaders the supreme rulers.

If I were to accept you premise that the majority of the country doesn't want us to just pull out, then why is Lieberman having such a tough time.

Murtha is echoing the sentiments of the top Pentagon military brass. Since they cannot speak out against their C-in-C while in active service, they are using Murtha to send out their thoughts to the American people.

Iraq has been downhill for Bush from day 1.
