Many of us suspected that WMDs were shipped to Syria, but we just couldn't prove the case. And unfortunately, so far as my most recent experience when ISG shut down, we still couldn't present "beyond a reasonable doubt" evidence that this was the case. But Primakov's activities in Iraq were widely suspected to be related to cleaning up Iraq's remaining WMD inventory and erasing any evidence of Russia's involvement.
