If I remember a slurry is two phases existing simultaneously- so there would be ice and water together. I can't remember how we classify slurries. They aren't phases, but they are something- something which I can't remember, obviously.

I just objected to the idea that water flipped- the individual molecules change state, but I thought people would be picturing something turning from water to ice all at once. Which isn't what happens. Maybe everyone knows that, but I find that a lot of people don't think about the molecules in a substance.
