Personally, I think the best policy for NK would be for the USA to totally IGNORE THEM. They are no direct threat to us, I doubt they are a real threat to japan, and if japan feels they are then they can likely take the appropriate steps with us selling them any necessary hardware. The real danger is SK and so far SK refuses to be a staunch ally, probably out of FEAR. IF NK were to be stupid enough to attack SK I would say use our FULL FORCE and this includes NUCLEAR. No way would I want to fight a conventional war, why should we go away from our strength and into their strength. NK has a far larger artillery force then us and far more available troops, not to mention short supply lines. Their weakness is they cant survive without outside help. If we treat them like the abomidable snowman maybe they will wake up and realize you get more bees to honey. jdn
