The new inverter seems to be making quite a difference. Looks like maybe 600 or so watts/day better.
Right now, it doesn't seem t matter, because the sun sets behind the panels. In Dec, tho, well south, behind some trees and a hill. Might get some blocking early in the morning, too. I'm playing around with the idea of removing my neighbors' hill. They will never notice. Maybe I'll give them a couple of cords of firewood.
I'll bet I can squeeze out 1+KW a day extra in the dead of winter by doing that.
