Glad for that correction, Kacy, amid the disaffection about Global Resources Investments. So as not to clutter the thread on a peripheral subject, I'll just note I've been investing through that firm for a long time and my experience with Rick Rule and (mostly) some of his brokers couldn't be more different from what others are reporting. Their integrity has been faultless, their advice generally good, I've gotten less stock solicitation than I'd like, and there's no more hand-holding than I wanted (very little). I do agree the commission structure doesn't work for trading, and is worthwhile only if you're using them for idea generation or feedback. I get at most 5 ideas a year from them that I trade on, and mostly they pay off. Doesn't take more than one or two to far more than justify the commissions.
