Peter, I don't know about all others, but most drivers that have owned a convertible now take a vow never to own another. They are subject to so many problems, they are not worth it.

I was once kind of amused by an incident at a drug store about a year ago. Some brilliant fellow drove up in a BMW with the top down, and went into the store to buy something, as did I, and we both exited at about the same time. Would you believe that he was upset because somebody stole his lap top from a totally unprotected car? I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing about it.
