not as if he were some misanthropic maniac
But after reading the entire thing, that seems to be exactly what he was-- a bitter, angry, paranoid, sad man. And it isn't just his wife who describes him negatively, but his coworkers, his officemates.
She worked while he was studying, she raised their two children, WHY exactly isn't she entitled to half the value of that house and his estate? Community property is just that- she gets HALF. Listen to his fury at his own children! He wants revenge, he wants them to suffer! Pyrrhic is better than nothing? Wow. I am just speechless! Well, ok, obviously not.
After he attacked FDR, Cindy Sheehan, the justice system, and everyone he's ever worked with, it would never occur to me to award much credibility to his political views at all.
I really don't get the "must read" aspect and the sympathy you award him! |
