I have been using Ameritrade with the Pink sheet symbols, I get the CDN quote from Stockwatch, then get the converstion from yahoo or kitco(then add/subtract 0.005 depending on the buy or sell order), then calculate the US price. I can see my orders show up in stockwatch, Also, Ameritrade can send an email when the order executes. It's workable.

But life is so much better with IB, the quotes, symbols, and orders are all in CDN dollars. My biggest disappointment with IB is they won't let me buy Canadian stocks from my IRA.

I've also have used Penntrade, Fidelity, and Etrade.

Regards
