"people die by GW induced drought"

Huh? Historical records indicate that food production in a warmer climate increases. So GW would increase the food supply.

"you have excess demand on limited resources."
That is one of the biggest problems, constant thread thru peak oil and global warming and water, and everything else; there are too many of us on the planet to keep living like we are at a sustainable level. Could well be a big die-off over the next 25 years, if we don't get it together.
I'm starting to see a lot of articles about the morality of using agriculture for fuel at the expense of food. People may starve cuz we are using corn to run cars.

Is AIDS the answer to the question, "What happens when population gets too great for earth to support it well?" So is it ok to ignore AIDS because we have too many people and we need to thin the herd? Or is it because most sufferers are immoral and deserve their lot? Or another reason?

"We probably don't even need to go to space to solve it; the sun puts out lots of energy, and all wee have to do is capture it"
It has been a while since I have looked at this but when I did the space based collectors with beaming electricity to earth was very efficient. It also has the same benefit that busses do over trains; reception terminals can be easily moved.

"We do lots of stupid things."

Yup, and that is a doozy. Canada has been construction additional rails to ship their resources ot china for integration. So is the problem our environmental laws, minimum wages, unfair competition?

"Did you know we can't sell our cars in China? Won't meet their emission standards. We have fucked ourselves.
My solar; only things made in America are the disconnects, the wire, and the 4x4s holding the wire. The inverter is German, the panels Japanese, the supports from S. Korea. Cuz we did nothing, since doing something would be bad for business."

Are we too lazy, stupid, haughty? Or what?
