Oh what a great list, Suma. Thanks for posting. I think I had blacked out some Vietnam War related ones, like the Deer Hunter. Sophie's Choice a very heavy, deep drama too. I haven't seen For Whom the Bell Tolls or Gentlemens Agreement.. will add those to the list. For Whom the Bell Tolls was certainly a great book. I wonder how well the movie version of Farewell To Arms turned out? Anyone seen that one?
