<off topic - Rio driving> David, they drive the same kinds of cars in Rio that you have right there in Houston. What they do differently in general is treat painted lines and traffic lights more as advisories than as rules to be observed. I drove there for almost a year one week and found that assertive, crisp decisions were the only way to survive. Pulling up to a traffic light with five cars abreast on a three lane road is the norm. And of course lock the doors.

Tailgating is a national heritage. Not to mention sidegating. The persumed safety buffer is about 1/2 meter. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Things are much bretter outside the city.

A distant second and third place in my experience are Rome and Athens which seemed wild at the time, but Rio is the closest to an arcade game that I would wish to come again.

Anything there should be an improvement.
