Suspect? It had the earmarks of an al Qaeda attack - multiple explosions in different locations at about the same time.

Also, where do you think al Qaeda originated? Afghanistan. Where were the arms to the mujahadeen funneled through? Pakistan.

But, of course, the Pak guerillas fighters had no contact with al Qaeda.

There could have been another purpose in the attacks. The United States has been urging a reluctant India to send troops to Iraq. If this is the work of al Qaeda, it could be a warning shot to India not to send them.
