I thought there was merit to Greenwald's assertion that our recent political battles are not Right vs Left, but neocon vs the non-believers. I took a tour through the RWE threads on SI last night, and I gotta tell you, there is a ugliness and hatred out there like I haven't seen since, well, never. They want the Islamic "hornets nest" exterminated indiscriminately and now. And they are openly labeling anyone who does not believe their way as enemies. Two more years like this and I'm afraid our great-grandkids will be studying the causes of Civil War II in history class.
