Reality is reality....

Best to understand that, and deal with it.

(Unless someone is trying deliberately to destroy America... I don't see where going down in history as a skunk --- and losing every single ally we have in the world --- is *worth* the dime. Better to let them stew in their own failures, and starve if they choose to....)

Anyway, the current state of affairs has benefits for the US --- our allies hew closer to us, Japan is joining the US missile defense system (thus greatly improving the system by letting us site launchers & radar on their territory), and if NK gets much worse then Japan (that officially most *peaceful* of nations) will 'go nuclear' itself.

THAT (a nuclear armed Japan) is the *only* thing that could stir China into slapping down the petty despot in NK.
