I am not a right-wing blind follower. I have voted Democratic or Independent my whole life until the Gore vs. Bush election.
I just could not stomach Gore. There is much I don't like with the current administrations policies but I think I have earned the right to say I have an unbiased opinion since I have never voted Republican until Bush 43.

Having two daughters and now a granddaughter and growing up and maturing, I don't know how in the world true Democrats can support the ever leaning left policies of the current Democratic party. 911 woke me up. I have deep respect for the integrity of George and Laura Bush. In comparison with the Clintons, the nation was starved for a President with moral character and true values. Clinton was a disgrace on that front. With all his many talents, it is his juvenile, adulterous character that will be remembered and his legacy. It was not a "one-time" indiscretion but an habitual pattern and had been always present in his life. He spent more time on his little head than his big one. That's fine, but not for our President... that person, no matter who he/she is, is called to a higher standard. I am far from a prude and have seen much of life and believe in forgiveness and live and let live. But with definite boundaries. With Freedom comes much responsibility. Freedom is not the right to practice/live any way you want. Their are laws and social restrictions to all out debauchery and carelessness. It is a vital mistake to overreact to previous scenarios and throw out the baby with the bathwater. Because our government has had abuses and continues to have abuses on both sides of the aisle does not mean it is evil and needs to be destroyed. Show me a better alternative. The Taliban and their religious legalism abusing woman and children and forcing man back to the dark ages? Communism or Totalitarianism? Socialist or Monarchy?

It is so easy to sit back and throw rocks, but I believe men ought to either participate and join the fight or shut TF- up.
Like a scripture says... "I wish you were either hot or cold... but because you are lukewarm, I will spew you from my mouth"
So typical of what the Democratic party has become... they complain about every thing but put forth yet offer no viable alternatives. The policy seems to be murder(figuratively speaking) the opposing leader and thus come to power by default. Guess what, you still have to lead and have viable policies etc.

Michael Moore and George Zoros's America would be a truly scary place. Remove law, order and enforcement and you will find out real fast how critical they were. We, as Americans, or anyone for that matter, should be slow to abuse our representatives. Taking a teenager's view about politics....
Being an unconscious Incompetent ... not even knowing that you don't know. It would be better to at least be a conscious incompetent, then you would at least know that you didn't know and hopefully, from that realization, you could choose to learn.
But so many today, find it satisfying to just be cynical and bash and like a drunkard consuming their alcohol, perpetually pontificating ignorance. Let the sober be in charge of the gates to the city less we all perish. But someone has to be in charge.
