Can you find the word "knock" in the constitution. I must have missed it.

It seems to me that the libertarians and the ACLU should be on the same side of this issue.

My policy preference might be for the cops to knock except in special situations, but as I said in the previous post "I can't off hand think of any actual constitutional requirement, even an indirect one, to knock." If you want to campaign for an amendment to create one I might support you, but the constitution doesn't have one now.
