"Courts won't require photo IDs for primary" The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a federal district judge enjoined enforcement of Georgia's new voter i.d. law in next week's primary, and that the Georgia Supreme Court refused an emergency stay of a state court order enjoining Georgia's voter i.d. law on state constitutional grounds. Depending upon the pace of the proceedings in federal court, the voter i.d. law could be enjoined on a temporary basis during the general election as well, until these issues are finally resolved by the courts."
