I'm not long or short anything. I just have CDs and Treasury Bills right now.

I really think you have gotten hold of the wrong end of the stick with the subcontractor issue. Having worked in the home building business, its obvious to me that this contractor has done something to Lennar.

Lennar has no history of treating their subcontractors shabbily, like Shapell Homes did. Subcontractors here in Southern California are quite happy with Lennar.

You're imagining something which simply isn't there.
