Last night I sent an e-mail to AccuMed's IR asking them to please provide details to the questions raised by the following posts on SI:

Here is the response I received today:

"I trust that the posts refer to the trading activity of Peter Gombrich.

Mr. Gombrich, AccuMed's CEO, had a longstanding personal financial liability that had to be satisfied by the end of August. As he was unsure of the selling price, he filed a 144 document with the SEC based on the maximum number of shares that he could sell. He did not sell the full 1.3 million shares and he has no intention of selling any more of his holdings. He sold a portion of his shares to cover the liability, the tax consequences of the sale, and the related transaction costs.
