The result of the vote is that Doug will get suspended for two weeks, i.e. until July 27. Of the 45 votes a bit over 60% voted for the suspension.

As previously stated Mas gets banned till the same date for name calling.

With the votes coming in I received a lot of additional comments. Some of them I consider relevant enough to share:

1. Doug's content posts were never in question. They're largely appreciated by both aye and nay voters.
2. Quite a bit of people voting for the suspension strongly wanted to get the message across that a combination of fewer low-content/reiterative posts and a less insulting/sarcastic tone is essential.

I fully support the result and the above remarks by the thread.
