the Republicans rigged the election and George and Dick planned 911 .... You are close, but not quite right. The republicans rigged the election. George is clueless. Dick had the military "stand down", -not take action- when there was ample evidence that Al Qaeda wanted to hijack a plane or two. They even scared Ashcroft from taking commercial flights. Dick got his "New Pearl Harbor", the hijacking that he was going to blame on Saddam. The trouble is he got more than he bargained for. So, Dick may not have planned the details of 9/11, but he did know something was up, and was in position to exploit whatever move Al Qaeda would make. TP
