Dick, that is a good rhetorical question.:) I don't claim to have all the answers, but there are always different reasons for insider selling. IMO the selloffs "tend" to be heavier when a stock has been doing well. In this environment the insiders have made a lot of money on their options, and by selling they do not risk the possibility of a selloff in the relatively near future.

Besides, they can always get more options later.:)
