we got a really bad report from SAP today. Top line weak and weak guidance. That portends very poorly for the capex companies.

What's a "capex" company? To me, capital spending means equipment spending. SAP sells software.

SAP did poorly, ORCL did really well in its May Q. Doesn't that just indicate ORCL took share from SAP?

With guidance so weak for everybody

Who has issued weak guidance? SLR and JBL beat revenues and guided up in May, and nobody has reported June yet.

The main supporting argument I see for your bearish thesis, at least as far as tech is concerned, is that share prices are declining. Evidence of real weakness in technology companies has yet to appear. The positive and negative pre-announcements for June were few and far between, so why don't you wait two weeks until the report (and the guidance) are in, and come back with your opinion then?
