thanks, I will add it to my never-ending list - I do like recommendations much better then reviews [another entire subject, reviewers] which in a way leads to art critics/experts I think art is an expression of what we see or feel - how well the expression is done is where the 'relative' comes in the maturity in viewing art might be appreciation or acknowledgement that something you personally don't like has artistic merit - be it skill or interpretation to put it simply I guess, is it is a matter of taste I think the idiocy comes in when some one 'tells' you it is great art at a great price and you buy it for THAT reason alone that's not about art, it's about salesmanship, it's about ego then in truth the emperor has no clothes
