Ahhh, yes, Houston driving - where YIELD means "Come on... there's room for everyone!" and CAUTION means "Let the other guy beware!" There's a story about a pack of cars cruising along IH-610, doing 80 in a 55MPH zone. A blue-and-white pulls in behind the pack, and on come the lights and siren. A car pulls off to the shoulder, and the local yokel pulls in behind him. "May I see your drivers license, sir?" "Yes, Officer. May I ask why you pulled me over?" "Yes, Sir. You were speeding." "But Officer, I was going the same speed as all the other cars. Why did you pull me over?" "Because you were the only one that would stop!"
