Dale, when you bought at $1.60 you may have gotten the shares I sold at that price. I think I orginally paid something like $.85 and then thought I was a hero when I sold for such a large profit. Thankfully, I saw the error of my ways and bought back in in 1987 for $2.85. That was more good luck than good planning, but I had read at some point that Geac lost a huge amount of business when one Trust company with which they had a contract was taken over or merged with another with which they did not, so apparently the merged company went with (I think) Unisys which was already established in the larger Trust Company. But despite the fact that Geac found itself in a very deep hole, many if not most of its large mainframe customers were so loyal that they paid their contracts early which allowed Geac to stay in business, then along came Helix and the rest, as they say .....
