The book isn't for everybody, he can be very unPC. But if you don't care about that, it's a rollicking ride through the NY legal/political system. The chapter on the Andy Warhol estate alone is worth the price of the book. Some interesting inside dope on the politics and wrangling over the World Trade Center monument as well, he represented the architect who was chosen to create the design. After reading that, I wondered if we'll ever see anything built there.

Speaking of Andy Warhol, my friend has backed off the comparison of Klimt being the Andy Warhol of his day. He now says Klimt was just 'gimmicky.'
