The restaurant system is a touch screen management system similar to squirrel. All the big chains use squirrel, like the Keg, Earls etc. But it is too large and expensive for the single big restaurant, or 3 store chain. The MKD system is targetted for them. I took a quick look at the system, but I couldn't tell a good one from bad. All I know is that it works, and the clients are happy. I was told they spent $8 million developing it. Sounds like a lot to me, so I guess not just anybody has the technology. If you recall, there was a news release late last year about a failed agreement with a cash register company. That agreement was designed to market and distribute the restaurant system, and eventually the autonet. MKD has been looking for the right company to handle the distribution ever since. I think the idea is to raise significant capital when they have that network in place, so they have money to do the proper marketing. If this new company is indeed the right distribution network, I think we will see some big financing in the medium term. And a return in share value to where I bought it. Once again, here's hoping.
