I'm glad that you are proud of your religion and heritage. Some of my best friends are Jews. And some of my best friends are Arabs too. I'd say that both my Jewish and Arab friends wish that the problems in the middle east would go away. I think that most Jews have no problem with Arabs, and most Arabs have no problem with Jews. There are however the other half of Arabs and Jews who will blame each other for their problems until the sheep come home.

Surely the problems of immigrants on a land are in the eye of the beholder. Witness the whacky stuff coming out of the republican congress to address the problem of illegal immigration on the Mexican border! Build a wall! Send in the Marines! Poppycock. So long as there are jobs being offered the immigrants will find a way here. Build a wall they will climb it or tunnel under it. Put troops on the border and they will learn to avoid them. The only way to stop illegal immigration is severe penalties on employers who hire them.

However, done is done. The Jews are there and they have been there for generations.

Indeed, and the only way to peace, whether it be a one state or a two state solution, is to put an end to retribution and revenge and hatred and to begin to build bridges between the Arabs and the Jews. To provide equal opportunity and respect for one another.

Someone will have to turn the other cheek. They will be the hero for doing so. Any response needs to be measured and constructive. Not doing that will only lead to continued destruction.
