Clinton had intel -- and he did not invade Iraq.

He sure as hell bombed the hell out of them during Operation Desert Fox.

But he never pushed the UNSC to declare Iraq in material breach of the cease-fire after he kicked out the inspectors.

He just didn't have the political capital left to get an authorization to use for out of the Congress..

And apparently he was too busy cozying up to the French to push such a resolution.

Had Al Gore been elected, it's quite likely Saddam would still be in power, under siege from the ever increasing influence of Takfirist Islamic militants within his Sunni support network.
