From someone who's never met the man, let alone have dinner with him...

I sat in with his "crowd" a number of times. Of course, I was just the faceless contractor, but NO ONE BELIEVED that the UNSCOM or UNMOVIC inspection process had worked.

I certainly never heard him voice such an opinion.

And quite a few of us believed Saddam (possibly via Russian involvement) had managed to move what remaining stockpiles he had left to Syria.
