Seems ever since they won the election, the area was under pressure.. Financially and other wise while no one talked about it, by all account, situation was quite dire.. And response to soldiers seems disproportionate.. No one was interested in 'diplomacy'.. I would say USA and Israel wants this even though noises being made about 'we are concerned' etc.. Honest Broker ? not going to happen any time soon.. Because that would mean leaning on Israel and painted as giving in to terrorists.. A little too late to furbish the image under this admin.. Unfortunately.. I am sure Palestinians of all stripe and Lebanese all will come out losing in this tussle and long term, more resentment will fester for another day..
