We wouldn't have had a 911 if the US didn't have forces in Saudi Arabia either....that's a very plausible argument given the use of terrorism over the last 25 years all around the world.

Funny... you sound JUST LIKE Bin Laden..

Now that Israel has taken out the infrastructure, I suspect the government will be even weaker especially if Syria comes back.

This is just one more example of your dysfunction logic.. You just don't understand the issues.

Were Syria to return to Lebanon, it would be a violation of the UNSC resolution 1559 and would unify the world against them even more.

Hizbullah might be one of their surrogates, but even the Syrians are stating that it is Iran that is predominantly the benefactor of Hizbullah, as well Hamas.

They provided them the drones that they use to strike that Israeli ship.

And they provided the rockets that hit that Egyptian ship as well.

Israel has a legitimate beef with Hizbullah. The attack that killed/kidnapped those Israeli soldiers was unprovoked. Israeli troops are not occupying Lebanon. And the prisoners they have were captured in the act of terrorist attacks against the Israeli homeland.

If Hizbullah wants to be allied with Hamas and the Palestinians, they will bear the consequences of turning Lebanon into a battleground.

There's really nothing we can do about it. The Israelis are going to do what they think they have to do.

But one thing is certain. The UNSC demanded that Hizbullah disarmed it's militia and they have not complied. Thus, when Hizbullah is defeated (and they eventually will be), Lebanon will actually be stronger and more capable of securing the sovereignty of its country from this heavily armed militia that believes it has the right to involve the Lebanese people in a war with Israel.
